Democracy Biennial is a laboratory-going public and open to dialogue aimed at all citizens, the theme trails are extensive both in their theoretical dimension, both through direct experiences that offer opportunities for reflection on the meanings and the values \u200b\u200bof democracy.
In this frame the contest CON.FINE DESIGN is organized to investigate the design theme "Eco-Democratic."
In a mature society and the democratic citizen and the community are subject proponents, and both recipients of choices and projects the government of things and the land. In this dimension of awareness of self and other, the attention to his and others' actions, are essential ingredients for a "do" democracy, based on participation, respect for people and the environment.
The design with its "do" can contribute to the spread of behaviors and lifestyles compatible with free expression, creativity and technological innovation, promoting the transition to a sustainable society in which both downplayed the impact of our living environment.
