Non essendo elegante l'autocitazione, l'autore del pezzo riporta quanto scritto sul suo blog da Andrea Riscassi, giornalista RAI, autore della prefazione del mio libro - "La Democrazia Arancione" - ma, prima ancora, grande amico a cui deve tanto e con cui condivide la battaglia per la democrazia nel mondo ex-sovietico, principio per cui con lui, ed altri, ha fondato l'Associazione AnnaViva.
"Questa - riporta Riscassi - la lettera di solidarietà che Matteo Cazzulani, a nome dell’associazione Annaviva, ha mandato ai responsabili del sito [Articolo 21, n.d.a.]: «Il fatto, peraltro già verificatosi in passato, è grave ed inaccettabile. Intaccare gli strumenti di informazione, con precisi scopi e con la chiara volontà di cancellare articoli ritenuti scomodi è una condotta non degna di un Paese libero, come, si suppone, sia l’Italia. Dinnanzi a tutto ciò, AnnaViva è sconcertata, ma determinata ad andare avanti nella sua battaglia e nel rapporto di collaborazione, ed amicizia, con Articolo 21. Battendoci per lo sviluppo di democrazia e diritti umani e, in ricordo di Anna Politkovskaja – e delle altre vittime del regime putiniano colpevoli di scrivere il vero - per la tutela della Libertà di Stampa nel mondo ex-sovietico siamo naturalmente vicini ad Articolo 21, ed accogliamo con profonda tristezza l’operato di loschi, e vigliacchi, personaggi, che, utilizzando un’espressione adottata già in passato da alte personalita, possono essere definiti solo come “turisti della democrazia”»".
